Estimated Mounjaro Levels

Estimated medication level in your body over time for a 2.5mg dose once a week. Note: an estimate based on average pharmacokinetic data — individual responses vary.

Estimated drug-level chart over about 8 weeks: levels peak around 2.63mg shortly after each injection, settle to a steady-state trough of 1.35mg, and average 1.88mg.

Based on first-order absorption (0.5-day absorption half-life, 5-day elimination half-life, 80% bioavailability). Average is the mean of all sampled levels; trough is the steady-state minimum.

How Mounjaro clicks work

Every Mounjaro KwikPen delivers 4 full doses over a total of 240 clicks — so 60 clicks equals one full labeled dose, whatever the pen's strength. Each click releases the same 0.01ml of medicine.

Because of that fixed relationship, the clicks you need for any dose are simply: clicks = (target dose ÷ pen strength) × 60. For example, dialing 30 clicks on a 5mg pen gives a 2.5mg dose.

Click-counting lets some people titrate gently between doses or make a higher-strength pen last longer. Only ever do this on the advice of your prescriber.
